When I was faced with a 24 hour layover in Singapore, I knew I had to choose my priorities…easy.
Harry Potter Cafe and Marina Bay Sands infinity pool! Check out my post on the Harry Potter Cafe (Platform 1094) here
The Marina Bay Sands infinity pool is a whopping 57 levels above the ground. Perfect to view Singapore’s skyline.
Infinity Pool Cost
I normally wouldn’t spend this much on a hotel while traveling, BUT my time in Singapore fell on my birthday so I decided to treat myself and spend one night in the world renown hotel.
The pool itself is only for registered hotel guests, so I split a room with a friend that totaled 352$ for both of us. The prices fluctuate throughout the year, pretty sure we came at a less busy time and got a better deal (January).
If you don’t care about the pool but want to get the views, you can purchase a $23 ticket to their SkyPark and Observation Deck. Check it out here
Other Marina Bay Sands Attractions
It might be more than you want to spend but staying at the Marina Bay Sands, you get access to other forms of entertainment. They have a nightly light and water show down at the event plaza, restaurants, shops, Gardens by the Bay, etc.
Here is a list to everything- Marina Bay Sands Attractions
Check out Airbnb.com and Booking.com if you want cheaper alternatives to places that have skyline views and rooftop pools. They probably won’t be as high as 57 stories, and won’t be walking distance to all the attractions, but still good!
Overall, I would recommend staying at least one night at the hotel. But only if you’re going to spend a good amount of time at the infinity pool, and it doesn’t break your bank.
